Welcome to our beautiful home, Bribie Island.
A much loved sanctuary among Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast locals,  Bribie Island welcomes you all from across Queensland, Australia and around the globe.
What you find here is something special.  A charming seaside community, Bribie holds a special feeling that's hard to find in busier towns.   A little Island with a lot of soul, even just a day here is enough to recharge, but if you have time there is a lot to keep you busy.

1- 4WD through the Bribie Island national park.  You can experience a taste of the bush to beach via your own private vehicle, however for the best experience contact Jason from G'day adventure tours.
With many options to choose from there is something to please the whole family.

2- Breakfast, brunch or lunch at Annie Lane! Of course it would not be a trip to Bribie Island without experiencing one of our over the top brunches or decadent shakes.  We cater for the whole family and you can guarantee those shakes will be of of the many highlights of your families trip.
The venue is fully licenced and showcases the very best Moreton Bay produce and Craft beer.

3- Splash around at Bongaree- The scenic foreshore at Bongaree is a safe inlet perfect for having a splash, a fish or hire a paddle board.  With plenty of playgrounds, bbqs and picnic tables our foreshore is the perfect place to relax.

4-Fish and chips by the water! Our top pick is Saviges Seafood.  They do everything from the most amazing seafood platters  to your regular fish and chips.  Across the bridge checkout the Oyster shed and beach club for a cheeky cocktail alongside those prawns.

5- Visit Bribie Island Butterfly house- Open Wednesdays and Sundays.
This little sanctuary is home to hundreds of bright and beautiful butterflies, dont forget to wear bright colours for a great chance of a butterfly landing!

6- Heading to Woorim?
Woorim offers sprawling white sandy beaches and a fully patrolled surf beach perfect for beginners.
Any trip to Woorim wouldn'tbe without grabbing an excellent brew at Little Mikes or a steak at the Surf Club.

7- Explore our waterways-
Explore the peaceful waterways around Bribie Island on an eco cruise with Ferryman cruises.
For a more intimate experience grab your own slice of Venice with a private tour in your very own gondola.  Visit Quinn at Bribie Island Gondola for more information.

8- Rainy days- definitely check out the Bribie Museum, brunch at Annie Lane and our unique cinema with a bucket load of popcorn.

9- Dinner- for that extra special occasion head to the Jetty Restaurant.  With expert chefs and views to die for this isn't to be missed.  For a family night night don't miss the Bribie RSL,  Sandstone point Hotel or Bribie Island Hotel.

10-Accomodation- Don't miss your chance to stay at the award winning Sandstone Point Big 4! You wont find much better than this when it comes to all things glamping! The swim up pool bar has your name written all over it!

Annie Lane Café are proud Mini Farm ambassadors.  We also fund a corporate Garden bed that directly helps to keep the farms operational.

The mini farm project is a not for profit that builds farms in underutilised areas to feed those in need.
In 2022, over 2 million Australian households have experienced severe food insecurity.  Rising living costs and supply issues due to climate impact are contributing to families skipping meals or going without eating.
In turn, charities cannot keep up with the demand for fresh fruit and vegetables, hot meals and hampers as they struggle to cope with the sharp increases to food prices.
They are working to build a network of charity farms, from Tweed Heads to Cairns, to feed families in need all year round.
Nick and his team use low impact sustainable farming methods.  They create communities and connections, by educating and nuturing like minded and supportive members to make a real impact on a real problem.
There a a few ways you can help.
As an individual you can join the giving circle for as little as $3.70 a month.
Sponsor a corporate Garden bed, buy a box of produce, volunteer on the farms and also share and help grow our message.
We know times are tough but we would absolutely like to gain as much help as possible.  If you would like to help please either reach out to Candice via email- [email protected]
or check out the Mini Farm Website

Lets make some real change together!

Introducing Sarah of Basilea herbs and edible flowers!

Well I cant believe I’m saying this but I have known Sarah now coming up to 6 years!

She was our first ever local supplier and the relationship we built from garden to plate was the turning point for deciding our cafes sourced locally as much as possible.

Not only is Sarah a passionate business women, an inspiration to support local sustainable and ethical farming but her wealth of knowledge and commitment to her craft directly aligns with the values of Annie Lane and Gather & Feast.

Basilea Farm is an urban farm and wholesale plant nursery in Burpengary, Queensland growing spray free, sun hardy culinary herbs, gourmet greens and edible flower seedlings and handpicked edible flowers for Brisbane and the Moreton Bay region. sustainable She grows over 80 varieties of edible plants using sustainable practices and sells direct to the public and small business.

Sarah holds farm open days and workshops throughout the year so follow her FB page or website for details on how you can attend and purchase direct from the farm.

The highlight of our week is opening our weekly delivery to see what gorgeous flowers and herbs she has for us that week, its always changing, its only what’s fresh and in season and we love that!

So next time you eat a meal at our cafes and you see all the beautiful herbs, flowers and garnish leaves remember where they came from, that they were lovingly grown by a wonderful small business just down the road and by supporting me you are supporting so many small local farmers.

Next time you want to get dirty in the garden or simply learn some new techniques contact Sarah at Basilea - [email protected]
